Forgiveness: Stories from the Frontline

BBC Radio 4

Journalist Marina Cantacuzino, founder of the charity ‘The Forgiveness Project’, presents a series of extraordinary stories from people who have been profoundly harmed, yet found a way to forgive.

We begin with Paul who was savagely beaten in his home in a case of mistaken identity. Other stories focus on murder of a loved one, sexual abuse of a child, a teenager’s compulsory conversion therapy and the fatal mistakes of medical services. How does forgiveness work when it’s an organisation rather than an individual that has fallen short and caused such grief and pain?
